To elucidate molecular mechanisms in human cell biology, we develop and apply novel data decomposition tools to curated collections of multi-omic datasets focused on particular cell and disease contexts. We design these resources to be broadly exploratory, spanning species and multi-omic data modalities. Central to this appraoch is the interrogation of both in vivo tissues and in vitro stem cell systems to gain deeper understanding of human functional genomics. In this spirit, we are initiating a new virtal seminar series focused on stem cell models and variation across human iPCS lines: Developmental Diversity in a Dish.
